Does it hurt?
Of course it hurts (duh) to some degree, but as for how much it will hurt you I cant say as everyone has a different threshold or opinion of what it feels like.

Where does it hurt the most?
There is not really anyway to say that it will hurt in any one particular part of the body anymore or less than another part. Because it really comes down to personal opinion again. e.g.: Miss Q gets a tattoo on her lower back then gets another on her shoulder. In Miss Q opinion it was more sensitive on her lower back. Mr X gets tattooed on the same places on his body but in his opinion the tattoo on his shoulder was more intense.

Why do tattoo studios have a minimum charge?
Most tattoo studios nowadays have a minimum charge, which can range anywhere from $60-$200+ The reason for the charge is to at least cover the set up cost to do the tattoo. Like the needle cost, ink trays/caps etc.. Basically it is just not cost effective to be tattooing little Chinese symbols for $5.

Do colour's fade?
Yes colour's can fade just like any pigment can fade from UV exposure and your body can break down the pigment particles over years and absorb the particles passing them through your body and disposed off as waste. Of course this can take years for anything notice to happen and you can add to the longevity of your colour by protecting them as much as possible while out in the sun.
